These pictures were taken at The Greater Faith Assembly, on the South Side of Jefferson, about 5 minutes down the road from Rivertown Lofts. Raphael Williams was our tour guide, the son of the Reverend. He considers Bernadette his business partner, this is the non-profit she mentioned at our last meeting that was in need of help - titled City of Praise. Raphael seemed very open to the idea of a potential youth driven program around digital media, greening etc. He has had a number of people say that they will do these things, but not come through. They currently have a youth program that has 75-100 kids, which is focused now on after school programs to "get kids off the street," and vacation Bible school. I'm not sure if these pictures capture it, but the space is huge and full of opportunities. There is a recently closed school next door that they are in negotiations with and want to obtain.
